Brian Downum provides acupuncture in San Diego, CA. Born and raised in southern California, Brian saw his first glimpse into the Chinese arts while studying Chinese kung fu. After many years of studying martial arts, he was introduced to the art of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which led him to seek schooling in San Diego. Throughout his studies and internships, Brian received training in Chinese meridian theory, orthopedic acupuncture, herbal medicine, tui na, and qi gong . In 2007 Brian co-owned Hidden Tiger Martial Arts where he taught classes and continued his training, as well as founding Jade Mountain Medicine. In 2008, Brian became a welcome addition to WAVE Chiropractic + Wellness where his practice ranges from orthopedics to internal medicine. In 2009, Brian Downum and Wendy Sellens created White Raven, where they practice together in the South Cedros Design District of Solana Beach.
